If you would like to learn how to shingle a roof...up the ladder is the place to go! I tried.The height scared me. Nobody called me chicken,and I moved onto another job I felt comfortable with. There was something for everbody to do and the age range of volunteers was broad.

The week that my 'new' husband and I spent volunteering for the Habitat For Humanity, was the most rewarding experience we had ever had. We were honored to have the opportunity to serve the people of New Orleans and this wornderful organization.
